It is HOT!

So the humidity has hit Doha! 113 degrees F and 43% Humidity, Yikes! We have been spending the daytime at the indoor play centres and at the movies. We go to the the park or the pool in the late afternoon or evening. We always joke we are like cockroaches, coming out at night!

Update....

I know it has been ages since I last updated. So much has happened since February! Of course our biggest news is that we are expecting the VERY unexpected....... a new baby boy! It seems God planned for us to have 1 more baby, WOW! He is due to arrive at the end of September.

We also found out that we are staying in Doha until at least December. We are all very excited because the idea of moving, buying a house, cars, and staying in a hotel with 6 kids, a very pregnant mom and Ryan starting a new job this summmer just didn't sound very exciting! So we are braving the HOT Doha summer. Annelise is going to summer school at her nursery, Starfish Lane Kids. Gabriel and Lukas will be joining her at the end of the month. Isaac is thrilled to have all of the kids around to play with. Aliyah was getting a bit burned out of nursery so she is enjoying her relaxing days at home!

For Spring Break we went to Jordan and Israel with our good friends the Gahr's. We spent 10 days sightseeing with 8 kids, 4 adults, 1 driver, 1 tour guide, 1 Jordanian police escort, and a bus! I hope to get a slide show done soon of our trip. It was incredibly amazing to see places that we have only read about in the Bible. It really made all of those Sunday School stories a lot more vivid and realistic!
